Circular Economy and Climate Change Adaptation in Soc Trang Province, Vietnam with SAWAEN
PZE provides professional services as requested by SAWAEN for this project to assesses emissions from 30 houses Cu Lao Dung District Soc Trang Province Vietnam. Residents actively participate in waste classification and biochar production using gasifiers devices that convert organic material into carbon-rich char and heat. The initiative aims to manage waste effectively and reduce emissions.

Households (30) participating in the project's pilot model to apply the provided gasifier to treat their agricultural waste, learn how to produce biochar, and how to apply them into their agriculture activities, as:
Turning agricultural waste and organic domestic solid waste into useful environmentally friendly products
Reducing pollution caused by livestock activities
Improving and restoring soil quality through biochar products and microbial fertilizers.
Creating green - clean - safe agricultural, animal husbandry products with higher value.
Creating a premise for trading, exchanging and using Carbon credits in the coming time.
General Information
This project aims to address critical environmental challenges by converting agricultural waste and organic household waste into environmentally friendly products. It mitigates livestock pollution, enhances soil quality through biochar products and microbial fertilizers, and creates high-value, green agricultural and animal husbandry products. Additionally, the project establishes a framework for carbon credit trading, promoting sustainability while balancing economic and natural resource considerations.
